All lessons and course bookings made with Manchester One Driving School must be paid for in advance. See our current lesson prices before booking. Once we receive payment and confirm a booking, the terms below apply.
Cancellation by Learner
If you wish to cancel or reschedule a lesson or course, you must give at least 36 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled time.
Cancelling with less than 36 hours’ notice means the full lesson or session fee is still due.
A no-show without prior cancellation results in your booking fee being forfeited.
Refunds
We only issue refunds if the booked service has not yet started. Once a lesson has begun, it is not eligible for a refund.
If you cancel the course before the start date and have not yet taken any lessons, we may issue a refund minus an administration fee of £25 to cover processing costs.
If more than 3 months have elapsed since your last lesson with us, we cannot issue a refund.
Return of Course Credits / Block Bookings
If you have purchased block lessons (a bundle or package) and cancel before using them, we may refund your unused credits, subject to the administration fee above and the “not yet started” rule.
Block bookings expire 3 months from the date of purchase unless we agree otherwise.
Refund Method & Timeline
We normally issue refunds using the same payment method you used for the original booking.
Please allow up to 14 working days for us to process and issue the refund once we accept the request.
We reserve the right to require proof of identity before processing any refund, in order to comply with anti-fraud and money-laundering regulations.
Cancellation by the School
If Manchester One Driving School cannot deliver your booked service (for example, if the instructor cannot attend or a vehicle is unavailable), we will offer you the choice of:
- Rescheduling the lesson at no extra cost, or
- A full refund of any paid fees for the disrupted service.
In these cases, we follow the same refund method and timeline described above.
Exceptions & Limitations
Refunds do not apply if you turn up under the influence of alcohol or drugs, without a valid learner licence, or if you behave in a threatening or abusive way.
If you repeatedly fail to attend or cancel late without justification, we reserve the right to refuse further bookings and may withhold any refund.
These terms do not reduce your statutory rights under consumer protection legislation.
Making a Refund Request
Please submit refund requests in writing (email is acceptable) to our customer support team at info@yellowgreen-kudu-513814.hostingersite.com, or visit our Contact page for more ways to reach us. Please include your name, booking reference, date of payment, and reason for request.
Once we receive your request, we will review it and notify you within 7 days whether we approve the refund, and how much we will refund.
Change of Terms
Manchester One Driving School reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. The version that applies to your booking is the one published on our website at the time of booking. If you have any questions about these terms, please get in touch with us.
