Manchester One Driving School
Manchester One Driving School was founded to bring patient, structured driving tuition to learners across Greater Manchester. While the school itself is newly established, our lessons are led by an instructor with over 10 years of hands-on teaching experience, gained at a previous driving school before starting Manchester One.
Confident drivers create safer roads. That is why we place patient, DVSA-approved instructors across all six areas we cover: Manchester, Salford, Bolton, Oldham, Rochdale, and Trafford. So there is always a local instructor near you.
Every instructor at Manchester One holds a full DVSA Approved Driving Instructor qualification. You can check the official ADI standards on the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency website. Our instructors are trained to support anxiety behind the wheel, not just teach the mechanics of driving.
From complete beginners to experienced drivers rebuilding confidence, our patient instructors adapt every session to you. Some learners come to us because standard lessons moved too fast. Others simply want a calmer, more supportive learning style. We slow things down, build trust gradually, and celebrate small wins along the way. If nerves are your main concern, our dedicated lessons for nervous drivers go into this in more detail.
We provide personalised driving tuition that builds real confidence, not just a pass. Whether you need an intensive course or weekly lessons, our local team is here to help. We also offer refresher lessons, motorway tuition, and Pass Plus for qualified drivers, and we tailor every package around your budget and your schedule.
Our instructors know the roads around the local test centres across Greater Manchester, including Cheetham Hill and Chadderton, where our learners have passed first time. DVSA does not publish official test routes, so we prepare you for the junctions, roundabouts and traffic you are likely to meet nearby. You learn in a dual control car.
Ready to start? We will match you with the right instructor for your pace and confidence level. Everyone deserves patient, judgement-free driving lessons.
DVSA Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) · 10+ Years Instructor Experience
Aneeque founded Manchester One after more than a decade teaching learners across Greater Manchester at a previous driving school. That experience shapes how every lesson here runs: calm, patient, and built around what you can actually do behind the wheel rather than a fixed script.
His learners keep describing the same three things in their reviews: patience, clear explanations and no pressure. It is why many come to Manchester One after a difficult experience with another instructor.
"The instructor Aneeque demonstrated great patience, calmness, and professionalism throughout my lessons. His extensive experience and clear teaching methods helped me pass my driving test on my first time."
Rizwan Ali, passed at Cheetham Hill
A pass certificate is the easy part to measure. What actually matters is whether you can drive safely on your own the week after. That is what we teach towards.
Test tricks fade. Real judgement on roundabouts, junctions and busy roads stays with you for life.
No shouting, no sighing, no rushing. Mistakes are part of learning. We explain them, then move on.
You will always know what improved and what to work on next, never a vague "you're doing fine".
Postcode-based rates you can check before you book. Manual and automatic always cost the same.
We cover seven areas across Greater Manchester, including Stockport, with instructors who know the local roads and junctions around each test centre, not just the postcode on a map.
Quiet residential roads ideal for building early confidence with a patient instructor, before progressing to city-centre traffic.
Covering Salford’s busy Regent Road and M60/M602 junctions, with instructors who know the local test routes inside out.
Bolton-area tuition close to the University of Bolton and Middlebrook Retail Park, manual or automatic at the same rate.
